In a small Factory on the southside of Chicago, it was May 14th 1962, and A.W. Enterprises first opened its doors.
It's first major project was manufacturing leather holster cases for Motorola's HT200 transistorized Handie Talkie, the first real portable radio.
Over the years, A.W. Enterprises continued developing innovative cases for telecommunications.
In 1986 the AWedge™, a unique swivel attachment device was patented and which proceeded to revolutionize the industry.
Today the AWedge™ is being used in all areas of mobil communications.
Our corporate office, testing center and manufacturing facility are located in Bedford Park, IL.
